Our favorite VisionQuest place, Alpe Meccia/Macugnaga, is located at 1,800 m above sea level, as if on a “balcony “opposite the gigantic mountain goddess “La Rosa” (Monte Rosa 4670 m), there we have leased 2 old stone alpine huts with lots of space all around for our tents, the yurt for group work and lots of wide wild land with rivers/waterfalls & breathtaking views.

Finding Himself
This will be a Quest for men like you, men who are no longer so sure of themselves. The ‘normal madness’ of today’s crises and wars gnaws at your self-image and obscures your view of the essentials.Ambiguities in your life can cause energies to falter. Experiencing heaviness, hardship and gloom often indicates that you are stuck somehow, somewhere. Life, your life, demands clarification, a definite decision.
‘Lost and Found’: could also be the writing above the gate through which your path leads you back into a new power of decision, guiding your step… a search that finally finds its goal!
Decisions can be like swords that cut through the thickest knot. Like a mighty hammer that brings down every dam and makes the water flow again.
Sustainable decisions are not made solely from the head, the heart or just from the gut. What makes you tick comes from many sources and each one wants to share its wisdom with you. Taking time, now, to listen and bring clarity to your thoughts and feelings, could be a good idea!
In order to be able to listen to life ever so deeply, people have been seeking out the solitude of wild natural spaces for countless generations. Such secluded places of power are particularly suitable for finding clarity in certain questions of life and renewing the connection with the greater whole. Our place opposite the mighty figure of ‘La Rosa’, the shining mountain, offers a perfect setting for such a beginning: clear and simple, down to earth!
Since time immemorial, seekers have been accompanied by people who have walked this path before them. They help them to clarify their intentions, maintain the connection during their days in the wilderness of the mountain forests and bear witness to their story on their return in a ceremony of listening and mirroring.

We will create a space in which we support each other, challenge each other and show what it can mean to be a man in this world at this time. Whether as a son, brother, lover, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, friend…The word “man” consists of many facets and not all of them are polished or without scratches. Such unsightly areas in our manhood often have a direct connection to those life issues in which things are not running smoothly. Dealing with these issues in a supportive, safe circle of men can be a very healing and strengthening experience for all involved.

Pre- and post-processing of the solo time on the Alpe Meccia, in the clear air, at 1800 meters above sea level, four days of solo time in the wonderful, wild landscape in view of the Monte Rosa massif…the Quest is international (English-speaking men are verywelcome too!)
