A spontaneous initiative born out of our enthusiasm for how important a village—a community—can be, where young and old live together in harmony…* A vacation for the soul, a time of renewal for body and spirit…
Every summer, we bring the ancient, abandoned Alpe Meccia back to life amidst the magnificent, diverse nature surrounding Monte Rosa… People come to reflect on the meaning of their existence, redefine it, and participate in a Vision Quest.
Families are drawn here as well—children are very welcome!… to experience the mountains, the tranquility, and the beauty… That’s how this idea came about: we invite curious people who’d like to spend a week with us—or even longer… We fetch crystal-clear, living water from the stream, gather wood, chop it, build fires for cooking, and cook together… We can sit around the fire with the Vision Quest group, sing, drum, play, lead morning exercises, and practice practical wilderness skills… Go hiking, bathe in the mountain water… If you’re interested in learning more, we’d be happy to accompany you on a “medicine walk!” A solo retreat lasting 12–24 hours is also possible… If you’re interested, you can receive an introduction to working with the CreaVista Wheel of Life…and you’ll be part of a larger community of people during this time who are intensively preparing for their 4-day solo retreat—spending time alone and fasting in the wild—and you’ll get to experience it when they return! We’ll then send you all the details: where to travel? / What to bring? / Your financial contribution? We’d like to keep this flexible, depending on which activities you participate in and whether you’re coming alone or with the whole family…
For adults, the camp costs—including logistics, organic vegetarian meals 3 times a day, and overnight stays in your own tent—range from 25 to 30 euros per day; children 5 and under are free (a small donation is appreciated!); children ages 5 to 16: 10–25 euros per day
In addition, a contribution from the heart for participating in village life:
for 7 days, between 250 and 400 euros for adults; children 12 and under are free
For personalized, individual guidance on a healing hike or a 24-hour solo hike, by arrangement with the guide: €100–300
